The Millennial Suit

The two piece masterpiece was created with the intentions of exhibiting a soft yet delightful drama. For the garment, Adorr sought after inspiration that visually sparked ideas. She naturally gravitated towards the essence of gathering fabric for volume, placing voluminous ruffles at different angles on the body to defy gravity and implement a completely new silhouette. Every detail is collectively harmonious by way of form and flattery in respect to the woman’s body. Ultimately, providing a surprise in the most unexpected of areas.

It was a purposeful exploration of silhouettes in the design process. The color palette implicates a sense of youthful ladylike calm. Adorr wanted to focus on using a millennial mauve tone for a soft aesthetic. This suit was greatly inspired by the serenity of floral petals, their fluidity and refined daintiness. The garment is a direct reflection of Adorr's love for structured pieces, clean lines, and classic tailored details combined with melodramatic accents.
